Getting started
Thank you for your interest in offering internships to our students. These guidelines will show you step-by-step how to create your account and post your opportunities on our online Career & Internship Portal. They will also provide you with an overview and general tips on making the most of the different services the portal can offer.

Registration
02. Select the services
When registering, please select all five services as per the image below. These options allow you to fully utilize the portal.

03. Once registered
- Confirmation will be sent to the email address registered
- Your registration will be reviewed by the Glion Career & Internship team
- Upon approval you will receive your credentials
- Please then complete your profile under the tab “Employer Profile” and review your account. You may add websites, links to videos and other information
- You may add more contacts with individual logins. To edit existing contacts, please contact us directly.
The more details and information you provide, the more attractive your company will look to our students.

Posting offers
Posting new offers
New offers may be posted by navigating through the menu in Jobs/Job Postings (by scrolling down you will see the “Post a job” button).
Please note that the postings are visible to all our students, UK and Swiss based. When posts expire, they will be archived. You may renew these manually, or we can do this for you (please contact career.services@glion.edu). Offers can always be modified after creation. Once the position has been filled, please inform us so we may close it.

Receiving CVs
You may choose whether you wish to receive the CVs either by:
- E-mail directly
- Selecting “Other” to link the offer directly to your career page or other external website
- Selecting “Accumulate online” to receive all CVs only on the expiry date of the offer

Restrict applicants
Please make sure to always restrict applicants. This will allow you to target the correct student audience. At the end of the page, you may indicate to which students this offer will be available. For every offer, please indicate your targeted group(s) of students by selecting the appropriate category label(s) in the box: “Applicant Type”.
1st internship
Applicable for operational internships e.g. service, kitchen, housekeeping, front office.
2nd internship
Applicable for more advanced internships that are administrative/supervisory in nature e.g. human resources, events planning, sales, marketing, F&B supervisor.
Graduating students
Applicable for entry-level full-time roles or management training positions.
Alumni
Applicable for more experienced roles.


Retrieving your applications
Download CVs
You may find students who have applied to your job offer(s) can be downloaded through the Job Postings menu, on the tab “Student CVs”. If you have multiple offers, you may filter on the position.


Evaluating students
Online evaluation
If you are hiring our students as trainees, you will be invited to complete an online evaluation at the end of the placement period. You may start evaluating your trainee and save it as a draft. At the end of the internship, the final evaluation may be done by saving the form after which no more changes may be made.

How to evaluate students
You may evaluate the student by navigating to “Internship Placement”, “Final Evaluations”. The evaluation is a mandatory requirement for students to pass the internship.

CV books
Search for candidates
You can use the function “CV Books” to directly search for candidates. By navigating to the Menu after logging in, select “Resume books”.

Click on the desired group.

Enter keyword(s) in the “Resume Text Search” (e.g. “French”) and you will see all matching CVs listed below.

You may download a batch by selecting “Batch Options” followed by “Generate Book”. The book can then be emailed to one or multiple emails upon your selection.
