planning for Glion Bachelor's programs
Throughout their Glion journey, Bachelor students receive extensive support and guidance covering all the essentials that will allow them to become confident and successful candidates as they take their first steps in the professional workplace.
From their very first day on campus students will attend presentations introducing and explaining the various tools and support mechanisms provided by the Career Services team; alongside workshops where they will learn how to create all the “must-haves" every young jobseeker requires. Collective sessions are accompanied by one-to-one meetings with their personal Careers Advisor upon request.
As their study program, needs and understanding evolve and develop over the semesters, so the themes covered are expanded upon and deepened, enabling students to tailor their own specific documents accordingly, from beginner level right the way through to graduating young professional.

Are internships paid?
This depends very much on the location and business sector you choose: it is very difficult to generalize. In the hospitality professions, the salary of interns is regulated by collective employment conventions in the specific country (e.g. France, Switzerland). In other countries (e.g. Dubai, Thailand, Bali, etc.) you may receive just a small stipend, while your food, accommodation and transport are taken care of by your employer.
What if I find a direct entry position at the end of my studies?
If you find a job after your final academic semester, congratulations! You will be able to use the first 12 weeks of your employment to validate the On-The-Job Experience semester. The same is true if you enter a corporate management training program at this time.
What if I were to dislike my internship or encounter a challenging situation while I am on internship?
You should contact your Careers Advisor if you experience any difficulties while you are on your internship. You will receive personal assistance and guidance on a case-by-case basis. While you should ideally complete your internship in one working environment, we understand that individual circumstances may mean that it becomes necessary to change.
“Our team aims to prepare students for lifelong career success, by equipping them with a variety of skills and resources for professional growth. Throughout their time at Glion, we help students to find internships, meet industry recruiters and acquire techniques and strategies for job hunting and securing their dream position.” •
