We’re inviting the most talented and ambitious applicants for our September 2023 intake to enter our newly launched Talent Connection competition, for the chance to earn a bespoke career-coaching package together with a valuable merit award.
Successful candidates will work directly with top international employers from the luxury hospitality, luxury retail and financial real estate services sectors to take their professional skills, expertise and CV to the very highest level. As an added incentive, all six winners will receive a merit award worth CHF 20,000 to be used against their program tuition fees.

Academics
Our Master’s in International Hospitality Business will teach you the skills to manage business, operations and people in international hotels and other premium customer-facing organizations. Across two academic semesters, you will work through an intensive course program, learning the foundations of business leadership before moving on to more specialized classes dedicated to sectors such as hospitality, F&B and luxury brand management. You will cover a comprehensive range of key management topics including sustainability, business strategy and corporate finance.
You conclude your academic program by undertaking either a six-month internship or a Business Research Project featuring a real-world commercial scenario.
This program can be studied in Switzerland or the UK, with campus transfers available to students wishing to experience a semester in each country.

Available exclusively to outstanding Master’s in International Hospitality Business candidates applying for the September 2023 intake, The Talent Connection offers applicants the opportunity to earn bespoke career coaching by a leading employer in one of three key sectors served by the program:

The winning students (two per sector) will receive expert coaching and guidance from their chosen industry partner throughout their taught curriculum and into their internship and professional life. This encompasses four personalized coaching sessions, an exclusive company visit and expert interview coaching to put candidates in the very best position for future career success.

Field Trip
Excellence has to be felt. That’s why the Business Field Trip forms a crucial part of your hospitality business education at Glion, enabling you to discover the vast range of unique luxury destinations that are available.
Visiting a major European city, you will experience the world of premium hospitality close-up. Hotels, restaurants, event venues and specialist agencies and consultancies all feature on a typical Field Trip schedule – many of them owned or managed by Glion alumni or our industry partners.
At the end of your Field Trip, you will have deepened both your knowledge of the industry, your professional network, and your friendships with classmates.
Talent Connection winners also benefit from an additional, exclusive visit to their partner company.
Internship and career support
Our dedicated Career and Internship team will provide you with the resources, techniques and tools to achieve your professional objectives as a Master’s graduate.
Team members act as your personal career counselors. They work tirelessly to develop an ever-growing list of premium quality industry partners, so you have access to the very best career opportunities.
Should you wish to conclude your program with a six-month professional internship, our team will help you to secure the best possible placement. The internship is your opportunity to apply your knowledge in a real-world setting, meeting genuine business challenges with creativity and skill. It’s also the perfect chance to make new connections ahead of graduation day.
Additionally, Talent Connection winners benefit from specialized support from their industry partner throughout the program, including specific interview coaching ahead of major job interviews and feedback on their CV.
Admission criteria
Next intake: September 2023
Minimum Age: 21 years old at the start of the program.
Education: Bachelor-level undergraduate degree in a relevant field (business or hospitality preferred).
Minimum English Language Entry Requirements: You must hold a professional English Language Qualification if English is not your first language or if you have not spent the last two years studying in an institution where English is the primary language of instruction.
- IELTS: overall 6.0 and min. 5.5 in every sub-component
- TOEFL: Internet-based 80 or paper-based 550
- First Cambridge Exam: Grade A
- Cambridge Advanced Exam: Grade C
- For the MSc program in London: same as above, except Non-EU or EEA passport holders will need to undertake IELTS UKVI: 6.0 overall and min. 5.5 in every sub-component.
Eligibility for The Talent Connection:
To compete, applicants for this Master’s will also have to submit: A Talent Connection entry form including a motivation letter
Eligible participants will need to select the partner they wish to compete for on their entry form.
Shortlisted candidates will also be required to submit:
- A 1,000 word business case strategy, solving a business problem based on real-world challenges faced by their chosen partner company
- 1 specific task requested by the selected partner
Participants who have submitted a business case will be invited to a selection day to meet other participants and present their business case in front of a panel of Glion representatives and their selected partner’s representative.
