Master’s students take to the road for immersive field trips to Barcelona & Monaco
Take a closer look at our Master's in International Hospitality Business field trip to Barcelona, which demonstrates how field trips can help students dive deeper into their understanding of hospitality and guest experience.
Our Master’s in Hospitality, Entrepreneurship and Innovation students visited the French Riviera hotspots of Monaco and Nice for their business field trip.
The students had the opportunity to dive deeper into the hospitality and luxury industries through Q&A sessions with managers of Fairmont, Rolex, and others. They also explored the luxuries of fine dining and member only clubs, giving them an immersive experience.
Just as importantly, they had the chance to interact with start-ups and talk about innovations while learning the finer elements of starting a company.

Recruitment Days in Switzerland & the United Kingdom
March saw the latest round of Recruitment Days at our Bulle and London campuses. For these perennially popular events we welcomed 181 guests representing 76 companies in Bulle; and 47 guests representing 28 companies in London.
Many of the companies present in Bulle were returners. They included: Relais & Châteaux, Lunajets, Nobu Hospitality, Richemont, Four Seasons, Sandoz Foundation, BMF Media, Aman, Bulgari Hotels, Jumeirah and JP Morgan, to name a few. Some key newcomers this time were Boutique Group from Saudi Arabia, Experimental Group, Crowe Ireland, and Les Domaines de Fontenille.
Likewise in London, we were delighted to welcome back companies such as Cushman & Wakefield, Chiltern Firehouse, Corinthia, Dorchester Collection, The Landmark and Peninsula London, among others. A number of companies – Marriott International, Mandarin Oriental, Accor, Belmond and Rosewood, for example – were present for both events.
During both events, the atmosphere was amazing as companies and students shared quality time connecting, networking and interviewing. We can be very proud of our students, who conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism, displaying great attitude and good knowledge of the industry, the visiting companies and their own career goals. This was particularly noticed and remarked upon by our guests who were very complimentary about their professional behavior.
Our doors are always open!

The symposium featured distinguished speakers from renowned companies such as Christian Dior Couture, Hermès, LVMH, Prada Group, Richemont, KPMG, and attracted 500 participants from the luxury industry, both in-person and online.
The engaging discussions revolved around the focal theme “Luxury’s new paradigm: how to win”.
